SEA Reconciliation Plan

January 2023 – January 2025

SEA has formally received endorsement for our Innovate RAP from Reconciliation Australia.

‘SEA of Opportunity’ by Muraay Djeripi

As a peak educational organisation that supports, represents and advocates for Steiner education in Australia in diverse contexts, our vision is to inspire Steiner schools, the broader education sector and the community to fully embrace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in the education of all children who are our future

Steiner Education Australia has a vision for reconciliation which acknowledges that all people are equal and seeks to connect through our shared humanity.

Steiner Education Australia acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are the Traditional Owners of this vast and beautiful land and its seas across Australia and have been for tens of thousands of years.  We pay our respects to Traditional Owners and Elders past, present and future.

Artist’s statement: This work depicts and acknowledges the coming together of two camps in communication, purpose and relationship.  Their shared objectives dictate a shared pathway and direction.  The result of their combined and concerted effort, is the reward, of True Reconciliation.
