Congratulations to Year 12!
What an absolute pleasure it was to witness our incredible Year 12 students present their Senior Project Presentations to the Samford Valley School community.
Each of the students held themselves with the utmost grace and poise as they took us through their year long journeys to investigate a deep question about both their own experience and how their questions might influence and impact the shape of the world they are soon to fully enter. It was a very compelling and moving program that really highlighted the strength of this group of senior students who have approached their leadership of our High School with depth of spirit, confidence and a great sense of responsibility.
Their projects were deeply centred in the task of raising consciousness both of their inner lives and the world we inhabit and were a testament to the ideals of Steiner Education.
Congratulations to all of our students and thank you to all who were able to come and support them. Further congratulations also go to Ben and Oliver Richardson and Lucinda Skett who have all now received early entrance offers for their first preferences at the University of the Sunshine Coast for 2021. I have no doubt that this particular group of students will inspire and create great changes for the better in their futures to come.
