Samford Valley Steiner School has won third place in the Plastic Free July Schools Competition.  Here is what the judges had to say:

Congratulations, Samford Valley Steiner School is the third place winner in our Plastic Free July Schools Competition.  A big thank you to your school for participating in our competition and for your wonderful entry which we thoroughly enjoyed – you should be very proud.  The judges were impressed with your initiatives:

• Awareness of preventing plastics going into our seas through beautiful artwork
• Focus on single use plastics
• Collection of waste
• Plastic free lunches
• Educating the school and others
