Cape Byron Rudolf Steiner School students and parents have just completed work on a mosaic mural to welcome students and staff to the library.
In 2019 Class 6 began the mural during their Ancient Rome main lesson. Craft teacher Tanja Nelson taught students how to glue tile fragments to a fibreglass mesh that was then adhered to the library wall, grouted and the wall re-painted by parents in mid 2021.
There was some delay in completing this project and Class 6 are now in Class 8! But many students are enjoying the walk past their handiwork and many teachers and students have commented how bright and welcoming it makes the library building. Well done Tanja, Class 6 (now 8) and parent helpers.
