Kindlehill Steiner School

Last week, the year 7/8 geography camp to the Colo River was cancelled. We did however proceed with some in the bush experiences. Watching the students abseil, I reflected on how this requires courage, commitment, presence of mind and the capacity to manage what feels unpredictable and uncertain. Capacities so very important for young people to individually develop within themselves. On Friday, they did a lilo drift down the Colo River, once again an adventure that also provides the opportunity to build capacities and teamwork.  Lynn Daniel
