Gore Gan Steiner School are pleased to announce that they have received accreditation for their school and will be opening in Term 1, 2017! 

Teacher

The committee are making preparations now and a great emphasis is on finding the right teacher for our school. We have already had some wonderful applicants and will keep applications open until August 31st 2016.

Pending funding, we are considering either:

1 x Teacher and 1 x Teacher Aide, 

or 2 x Teachers, 1 very experienced in Steiner and 1 to be mentored.

Enrolments

If you have been interested in enrolling your child into this beautiful, multi-age school, now is the time to express your interest officially by completing the attached enrolment interest form, as numbers will be limited and waiting lists may apply. 

Our finance committee will be confirming school fees in the coming weeks upon receipt of official funding figures, and you can expect the fees to be somewhere between $3400-4000 per year.  

Enrolment application forms and policies will be finalised in conjunction with determination of fees, and all who have already formally expressed interest will be contacted, upon employment of our teacher, to commence the interview/enrolment process.

Site

We are grateful to the Gladstone Council for their support and approval of our school site at The Old Community Hall – 71 Springs Road. This site is central within our community, by the beach, making access to resources so easy, not to mention parking, drop offs and student safety a breeze! 

Playground and fencing is being considered now, as well as acquiring resources like desks and school materials for our students. We are looking into grants to assist and welcome all support.  

How can you help? 

For anyone interested in supporting the establishment and growth of the school, we welcome interested community members to apply to join the committee.

We encourage family and friends to join the Steiner Community throughout the year at our festivals and events – mark them on your calendar…
