Castlemaine Steiner School and kindergarten

New building project

Castlemaine Steiner School and Kindergarten will start construction of a new building late this year.  The new science, technology and computer studies building will be for high school students and has been made possible through funding from the federal government’s Capital Grants Program.

Life Design Architecture have designed the building to be in keeping with the school’s existing architecture.  Plenty of natural light and a connection to the surrounding natural environment have been a focus of the design.  The building design also incorporates sustainable technologies such as thermal heat and solar power.

The project is due to be completed in mid-2022.

Below is an article from the local Midland Express newspaper on the project.
