STEAM Teacher: High School
(full-time or part-time based on number of subjects being taught)
Aurora Southern Highlands Steiner School is located in Bowral, NSW. We are a small, young, rapidly growing, K-12 school currently running stage based classes in the secondary years. 2024 will see the graduation of our first Year 12 cohort.
Aurora is seeking applications from dedicated and innovative High School Teachers across the STEAM areas to start at the beginning of 2024. We are seeking a teacher who can work with a spirit of collegiality to further build our high school in a way that allows for the healthy development of students. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our current dynamic school.
Highly desirable skills include:
- A commitment to Steiner education
- A pioneering attitude including collaboration, decision making, adaptability, creative problem solving, energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to plan, lead, record and assess teaching programs
- Skills in multiple subject areas, specifically Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics
We are looking for specialist teachers who can add value to our program, be innovative in their approach and work well with others.
