Glenaeon is seeking an experienced, dynamic and innovative Science/Maths Teacher to join our collaborative teaching staff at our high school campus.
Our Science Teacher delivers NESA Stages 4 and 5 Science syllabus and Stage 6 courses in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. In addition, our Main Lesson curriculum in high school provides an engaging and multi-disciplinary approach that complements NESA syllabuses and will inspire any committed scientist. The ability to teach Mathematics, Stages 4 and 5, would be highly advantageous.
As the first Steiner School in Australia, Glenaeon has a fine heritage of pioneering work in innovative education dating back to our origins in 1957. We now educate up to 500 students from Preschool to Year 12 across three campuses at Castlecrag, Middle Cove and Willoughby on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. We seek and value staff who actively support Glenaeon’s ethos, fostering a creative approach to teaching and learning and compassionate care for the wellbeing of our students.
Salary for this role will be in accordance with experience and classification under the Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement. The successful candidate must also provide a Working With Children Clearance prior to commencing.
