School Learning Support Staff (part-time)
Commencing Term 1, 2023
The Central Coast Steiner School is seeking a Primary Teacher’s Assistant for Year 2. This is a part-time position (approximately 0.4- 0.7 FTE).
Key Selection Criteria:
- has attained a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213)
- understands the principles and practices of Steiner education
- shows a sound understanding of the NSW Australian primary curriculum
- demonstrates a high level of competence in making adjustments for students who need support
- demonstrates a sound understanding of differentiation practices and is skilled in applying these understandings
- has excellent standards in literacy and numeracy
- has an excellent command of spoken English
- has experience in working in schools
- works well as part of a team and communicates well with colleagues
- can take initiative and be flexible
The successful candidate must also provide a Working with Children Clearance prior to commencing.
