Milkwood Steiner School is a non-denominational, co-educational Primary School and is founded on the educational principles of Rudolf Steiner. Their work is a healthy balance in the child’s self-expression in music, the arts and crafts and building their knowledge of literacy and numeracy.

Established in 2004, Milkwood Steiner School has steadily grown to its current size of approximately 80-85 students. Our school offers Preschool (Kindergarten) to Class 6. Milkwood also offers an After- School Care program. Our vibrant and dedicated school community, together with major achievements and a new comprehensive strategic plan, significantly improves our ability to respond to opportunity and realise our full potential.

Milkwood Steiner School is located approximately thirteen kilometres from the city of Darwin, NT.
