Primary School Learning Enrichment, Literacy and Numeracy Support Teacher 2023  

Samford Valley Steiner School is seeking a Learning Enrichment, Literacy and Numeracy Support Teacher. This is a fixed contract, full time position from the beginning of Term 2 until the end of 2023.

The overarching goal is to support students, staff, and parents in the form of additional support, with the goal of inclusive education and meeting the needs of students according to their developmental stage, as described by Rudolf Steiner.

This role supports students with additional needs and liaises with teachers and parents. The role involves working with students on a one on one or small group basis, either in the Learning Enrichment room or in classrooms to support students and teachers. The role also requires supervision of teacher aides in the Learning Enrichment Program and contribution to the NCCD and IEP’s.
