Primary School Kindergarten Assistant



A vacancy exists for a Fixed-Term Kindergarten Assistant to commence at the beginning of Term 3 until the end of Term 4 2022, with the possibility of extension.

About the role:

The Kindergarten Assistant supports the Teachers in the Kindergarten programme in accordance with Steiner Education and teaching principles. Responsibilities primarily involve the care of young children and include food and resource preparation, care of the kindergarten environment and supporting the Kindergarten teacher as required.

  • preparedness to be fully involved in the school’s activities.

The successful applicant will meet the following pre-requisites:

  • eligible to work in Australia
  • current Working with Children Check
  • National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old, successful applicant only)
  • Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
