We are an independent school situated in Kuranda and offer education from Kindergarten to Class 8 in High School. We are co-educational and non-denominational school offering a nationally-accredited curriculum based on the educational insights of Rudolf Steiner.

Marketing, Communications & Enrolments Officer

We currently have a Marketing, Communications & Enrolments Officer role available for our school. This is a part time role based at the school.  Working as an effective member of the Administrative team, the primary role of the Marketing, Communications and Enrolments Officer is to foster the image and reputation of the school through an effective marketing profile and both internal and external communications, with the aim to achieve and maintain full enrolments. 


  • Develop and implement effective school enrolment, communication and marketing strategies
  • Coordinate all timely, target specific marketing, advertising, promotion, public relations and communication activities from conception to execution and evaluate effectiveness
  • Develop and conduct regular improvement surveys
  • Refresh imagery across communication platforms and ensure continual consistency of style guides and branding
  • Participate and assist in the facilitation of parent education, school meetings, events and functions
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Team and colleagues 

Role Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in similar roles
  • Demonstrated management and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of the role of communications in marketing and branding
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Computer literate with up to date, digital marketing knowledge and skills
  • Ability to manage and accept accountability for all activities
  • Flexibility and analysis/problem solving skills to respond within a dynamic environment
  • Well-presented, self-motivated, creative and out of the box thinker
  • Ability to uphold ethical practices and act decisively
  • Ability to see the bigger picture with excellent attention to detail
  • Current working with Children Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one
