Learning Support Teacher & NCDD Coordinator

Learning Support Teacher & NCCD COORDINATOR – 0.6 ETF

Dandenong Ranges Steiner School is seeking a Learning Support Teacher from Term 1, 2023. This position involves conducting diagnostic assessments, instruction of students with additional learning needs and compilation of associated paperwork required for NCCD funding purposes. This role would also oversee the NCCD program in the school, liaising with Class Teachers, Specialist Teachers and other Learning Support Teachers as appropriate to ensure funding requirements are met. ICT proficiency is essential and primary teaching qualifications and VIT registration are required. 

The successful applicant will have a passion for education and a deep understanding of Steiner pedagogy and philosophy, with a particular interest and understanding in the therapeutic aspects of this form of education. Training and experience in Steiner Education and Learning Support are essential.
