LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER – 0.3 FTE 2023
Golden Hill Steiner School provides a wonderful place for children to shine. We are in beautiful Denmark, Western Australia, approximately 400kms south of Perth. Established 35 years ago, the school has grown to offer a full Steiner curriculum from Playgroup to Class 7, expanding to provide up to year 10 by 2026.

The position is a part-time position, working with individuals and small groups of students requiring additional support in literacy and numeracy. The successful applicant will need to work in collaboration with the class teacher and provide feedback on progress and supplementary comments to support report writing at the end of each semester for the students supported.
Essential Requirements
- Current registration or provisional registration, with the Teachers Registration Board WA
- Current WA Working with Children Check
- A knowledge of, or genuine interest in, and willingness to learn about Steiner education
- Ability to work independently and as a part of our team
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Requirements
- A Steiner qualification or previous experience working in a Steiner school
- Understanding of learning support needs
- Current First Aid Certificate
