IT Assistant and Class Instructor


Commencing in TERM 2, 2021 this position:

  • Provides technical support in the development of systems to support the educational operations of the school
  • Develops the technology skills of students in Class 5 and 6 in preparation for high school
  • Is supportive of the school’s guarded approach to children’s use of technology in a safe and appropriate way


  • Part-time – approximately one day per week
  • Remuneration – will be commensurate to the qualifications and experience of the candidate

Key Skills and Duties

  • Working with data management systems to produce school reports
  • Delivering small group sessions to children to develop skills and knowledge in:
    • Touch typing
    • Document control and functions
    • Powerpoint
    • Research
    • Movie making and clay animation
  • Communicating, supporting and upholding Kamaroi’s school vision, direction and values
  • Modelling professional and ethical behavior in relation to the use of IT
  • Supporting school management in administrative functions to improve educational operations through IT use and systems
