IT ASSISTANT and CLASS INSTRUCTOR
Commencing in TERM 2, 2021 this position:
- Provides technical support in the development of systems to support the educational operations of the school
- Develops the technology skills of students in Class 5 and 6 in preparation for high school

Is supportive of the school’s guarded approach to children’s use of technology in a safe and appropriate way
Position
- Part-time – approximately one day per week
- Remuneration – will be commensurate to the qualifications and experience of the candidate
Key Skills and Duties
- Working with data management systems to produce school reports
- Delivering small group sessions to children to develop skills and knowledge in:
- Touch typing
- Document control and functions
- Powerpoint
- Research
- Movie making and clay animation
- Communicating, supporting and upholding Kamaroi’s school vision, direction and values
- Modelling professional and ethical behavior in relation to the use of IT
- Supporting school management in administrative functions to improve educational operations through IT use and systems
