Position Overview
Shearwater, the Mullumbimby Steiner School is currently seeking a passionate and experienced High School Maths Teacher to join a job share for 2 days per week (0.3 FTE). We require someone who is suitably qualified to teach Years 7-10 Mathematics and Year 11 Advanced Mathematics.
You would be joining a collective of teachers dedicated to providing an imaginative approach to teaching and learning based on Steiner’s pedagogical insights, within a dynamic and progressive Steiner educational environment.
Ideal candidates will be inspired by Steiner education and dedicated to continuous improvement and reflective practices. Candidates must hold relevant teaching qualifications and experience and a NESA accreditation. While Steiner experience or qualifications are not essential, a willingness to learn is required. Support and guidance will be provided to successful candidates without a Steiner background.
Appointments will be subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check as required under the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012.
