Willunga Waldorf School began in 1989 as a playgroup and is now a fully comprehensive Early Childhood to Year 12 School, with 375 students on the roll. Based on Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy of education, the School provides a rich curriculum and innovative teaching methods to nurture students’ development. Learning is supported by artistic and hands-on experiences that deepen understanding and generate enthusiasm for learning.
An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a new Head of School to guide Willunga Waldorf School through its next exciting phase of growth and development.
We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational Head of School, experienced in Steiner education, to work collaboratively with staff, students, College of Teachers and other members of the school community in the educational and cultural development of the school. You will focus on providing optimal, holistic educational and developmental outcomes for students.
You will demonstrate a successful collaborative style in leading staff in a school environment focussed on continuous improvement, performance accountability, curriculum design, teaching methodology and the effective management of resources to achieve objectives.
Your personal attributes will include a deep understanding of Steiner’s philosophy of education, advanced creativity, lateral thinking skills, curiosity, positivity and proactivity combined with outstanding interpersonal communication skills at all levels.
