The Eyre Peninsula Waldorf School Initiative is based in Port Lincoln on the beautiful Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. The Initiative is in the process of seeking school registration with a view to opening the doors of the school in early 2024.

We are currently inviting expressions of interest for the position of primary school Class Teacher/s.

The person/s we are seeking will be a fully qualified primary school teacher with a passion for educating the “whole child”. Ideally, they will have some understanding of the Steiner/Waldorf pedagogy and philosophy, however a willingness to take steps towards further education as a Steiner/Waldorf teacher is essential.

They will possess a natural affection for children and the ability to interact warmly and respectfully with children aged from Reception to Class 6. Classes will be composite for at least the first full school year with the ideal being single class groups as soon as enrolments allow.

Our first Class Teacher will be given the unique and exciting opportunity to be a part of the school from its foundation, so enthusiasm and flexibility are essential.
