Perth Waldorf School invites applications for an Education Assistant – Individual Needs (0.8 – 1.0FTE subject to discussion with you). Commencing Term 1, 2023.

PWS is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and empathic individual to join the school in the role of Education Assistant – Individual Needs. This is an opportunity for a person with training and experience working with children with additional needs including neurodiversity to contribute to the education of a junior primary student and potentially journey with them through their Primary School years.  The successful applicant will assist the teacher in delivering planned education programs, encouraging a supportive and inclusive learning environment and will work under limited supervision. 

The school is located in a bush land setting near Bibra Lake in the southern suburbs of Perth (approx. 20 minutes from the CBD and 15 minutes from Fremantle). We provide a Steiner education from Playgroup to Class 12.The work environment is delightful and the staff are a very supportive bunch of people.

Applicants must have permission to work in Western Australia and hold a Working with Children Check.
