The school is located in a bush land setting near Bibra Lake in the southern suburbs of Perth (approx. 20 minutes from the CBD and 15 minutes from Fremantle). We provide a Steiner education from Playgroup to Class 12.
PWS is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join the Primary Faculty to work with Class 6 before they move to the Class 7 transition year which is a stepping stone to entering the High School in Class 8.
This class has been well held by the class teacher for five years and is described by specialist teachers who have worked with the children as “delightful”. With the class teacher taking time out for growth and development the children will seek someone who can both manage the transition and bring their authentic self to these 11/12 year olds. The successful applicant will have a passion for education. An understanding of Steiner pedagogy, philosophy and the typical development phases through which children develop as well as a desire to learn more. These are all essential.
