“At Perth Waldorf School we are committed to promoting the safety, health and wellbeing of children and young people and expect all school staff, parents, students, volunteers and visitors to the school to share that commitment”

Call for expressions of interest Class 7 Teacher (Pioneer Class of New Parkerville Campus)

Commencing 2022

Perth Waldorf School is exploring options for an additional High School campus situated in the Perth hills. It is envisaged that the school will grow through stages beginning from Class Seven in 2022 with additional classes added each year.

As part of the preparation and planning for the new campus, we are now calling for expressions of interest from qualified Steiner Teachers who can hold a class of 12/13 year old children in a pioneering situation and so introduce the Class 7 curriculum for the first time at the new campus.

At the same time, a degree of flexibility and open-ness to respond to the times, children and local environment will be needed. In other words, an awareness of Class 7 orthodoxy but with an ability to respond to the real needs of the school.

The person we are looking for will be an experienced teacher and a strong individual, willing to take on a leadership role, well versed in the classroom and with a preparedness to play a significant role in the formation of the new High School. The ability  and willingness to teach lower High School classes is appreciated as the campus grows.

A full job description and criteria for expression of interest is available on our website www.pws.wa.edu.au.

Please forward your expression of interest to employment@pws.wa.edu.au
