Assistant High School Coordinator

1.0 FTE

“At Perth Waldorf School we are committed to promoting the safety, health and wellbeing of children and young people and expect all school staff, parents, students, volunteers and visitors to the school to share that commitment”

This is a leadership position in the school and will manage various aspects of the High School programme including staff. The position offers the opportunity to bring your wisdom, experience and excellent working knowledge from years of teaching to a leadership position in a school brimming with positive staff and fantastic students. The Steiner curriculum is holistic, creative and structured beautifully to meet the needs of young people at their stage of development. In this position you will need to constructively engage with anthroposophy, the Steiner curriculum and the school ethos.

You will bring initiative, confidence, positivity and an attitude of a high-level leader to the role.

Your love of people and your ability to coach staff and students towards well-being and productive outcomes will be balanced with a curiosity to understand each individual and a rigor towards processes and management.

You have the opportunity to work with a positive and forward focused leadership team who place student experience of the Steiner curriculum as the driver of their work, not assessment, marketing or bureaucracy.

If you have the type of social emotional intelligence and strength of character that means people love working with you and you have their respect, please apply and reap the rewards of a great position in a successful and growing school.

The Perth Waldorf School is a K -12 school with 580 children. The High School has 250 students and you would be working closely with approximately 50 staff.
