University of the Sunshine Coast

Graduate Certificate in Steiner Education

The Graduate Certificate in Steiner Education is open to anyone with a Bachelor’s degree in any subject. (The Grad Cert, however, does not lead to Australian teacher registration).

Join us in a dynamic, flexible study environment. We offer both fully online AND face-to-face study options – whichever suits you best. Enrol by mid-February for a semester 1 start every year and by mid-July for a semester 2 start every year.

We welcome teachers in Steiner, mainstream and private schools as well as parents, assistants, administrators, principals, and home-educators – anyone interested in deepening their understanding of Steiner/Waldorf Education in a contemporary context.

If you’re currently teaching, all hours can be counted towards Professional Development. (External, self-selected – 52 hours per semester if you’re doing 2 courses).

We warmly welcome you to be part of our program.

FEE-Help is available, so there are no upfront costs. Additionally, Commonwealth Supported Places are available at a further reduced cost. Find us here:

‘I loved this course…great experience, great teaching and so good to be around like-minded people – very inspirational indeed. The online lectures and blackboard discussions were great too. The assessments were relevant and real life and I know this research is useful in my current career too. Even the readings were great; really enjoyed this whole course.’
