2024 January Class Teacher Intensives

Creating Presence in our Classrooms while unfolding the Gifts of the Curriculum  

   The Class Teacher January Intensives will again be held at the Newcastle Waldorf School. The dates will be January 15th to 19th. This time the intensives will be face to face only with no live streaming of sessions. (Recordings of lectures will be available after the event)

We hope that many teachers will come and join us at the beautiful surroundings of the Newcastle school, Lake Macquarie and nearby beaches. 

Bernadette White, Andrew Hill, Diane Tatum, Julie Lovet and Barbara Baldwin will all present to the classes and Paul Lawrence, a new and much appreciated addition last year for music and singing, will return, as will Katrina Stowe and James Deefholts. 

Special Guest Lecturers

We are fortunate to have Michael Merle, a highly regarded teacher trainer from South Africa, flying in to lecture and support the class sessions as well as lectures by Katrina Stowe and Josefin Porteous on creating presence and Lisa Devine on the gift of this work for the children and the touchstone it leaves for future well-being. 

A special guest lecturer via zoom will be Michaela Glockler with two lectures on the connection of the child to the world of nature as well as a lecture on how our thinking develops and where it resides. 

Lectures will be recorded and will be available the week after the intensive.
