WORKING WITH MOVEMENT IN THE CLASSROOM For children aged 9-13

A four-day programme for any teachers and aides who are interested in developing ideas for practical, enjoyable and age-appropriate movement as a component of classroom activity, for class plays and morning circles. The sessions will be led by ^Josefin Porteous and Jan Baker-Finch.
The programme includes four 1.5 hour Zoom talks on the developing child from age 9-13 by experienced Waldorf Educators, *Sue Simpson and Pep Wright.

Simple Dormitory accommodation (with cooking facilities) available: $15 per night
^Josefin Porteous and Jan Baker-Finch each have more than twenty-five years-experience in eurythmy teaching at early childhood, primary and secondary levels and have worked with countless teachers on movement for plays, morning circle and festivals.
*Sue Simpson has over thirty years-experience in classroom and eurythmy teaching for early childhood, primary and high school students. For seven years she was principal of Taikura Rudolf Steiner School in Hastings, New Zealand.
Pep Wright has more than twenty years-experience in early childhood and primary education, and ten years in school leadership, the last five of which as director of Samford Valley Steiner School.
