Projective Geometry – the World of Life, the World of Soul

Experienced Steiner teacher and educator from kindergarten to class 12, mathematician and Science teacher Gordon Woolard will introduce Projective Geometry in Term 2. 

He will bring in the wonders of Projective Geometry with respect to how it relates to the world of Life (in plants and human anatomy) and the Soul (thinking, feeling, willing), and leads us to ‘pure thinking’ (beyond mental pictures) that Rudolf Steiner refers to in his book ‘The Philosophy of Freedom’.

There will be practical activity as well as observations and discussions; and you will understand why Projective Geometry is taught from Class 11, and not earlier.  No previous mathematics or geometry experience is needed.
