SEA 2020 GLaM Seminar Series – Courting the chaos

The SEA 2020 GLaM Zoom Seminar Series continues with a session focussing on supporting staff wellbeing at this time of crisis and chaos. 

This seminar will be presented by Dr Tom Brunzell (MST, EdM, PhD), Director Education at Berry Street.

Dr Tom Brunzell has experience as a teacher, school leader, researcher and education advisor in New York City and Melbourne. Currently he is the Director of Education at Berry Street. Tom presents internationally on topics of transforming school cultures, high expectations for differentiated instruction, trauma-informed practice, wellbeing and the application of positive psychology, and effective school leadership. His research at the University of Melbourne Centre of Positive Psychology investigates trauma-aware pedagogy, positive psychology, positive education and their impacts on workplace meaning. Tom was a key presenter at the Glenaeon Class Teacher Intensives in January, 2020, and was due to present a lecture at the SEA 2020 GLaM Conference.

In this seminar Tom will offer insightful and practical means to support school staff wellbeing, particularly during this time of change and chaos. This seminar is for wellbeing staff, school leaders and leadership teams, school board and council members, teachers and support staff.
