Class Teacher Intensives

  • Date Jan 14 2018 - Jan 19 2018
  • Venue Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner School

The Class Teacher Intensives will be held from Sunday January 14th-19th  2018

We have invited Jamie York- who has written the Mathematics textbooks- Making Maths Meaningful and has travelled the world this year lecturing to schools and colleges.

We have in the past highlighted English and History, the Arts, Inner Development and Working with Children with Additional Needs but now we will in addition address the questions in more detail of how children learn maths successfully.

Jamie will do two lectures for all teachers and then two mathematics tutorials for each class group.

With the 6 Arts curriculum subjects being approved shortly – it is wonderful that Sue Schuster, Christian Lillicrap and Linden McCall are available to support the implementation of Music, Visual Arts and Speech and Drama.

In addition we will offer increased Sunday sessions on the overview of the Visual Arts curriculum with Sue Schuster and Helping students facing Anxiety and Teasing with Lisa Devine.
