2017 SEA Governance, Leadership and Management Conference – Creating Capacity in a Complex World

  • Date May 12 2017 - May 13 2017
  • Venue Willunga Waldorf School

The 10th Annual Governance, Leadership and Management Conference will be held on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 May, 2017 at Willunga Waldorf School in South Australia.

The GLaM conference will once again be preceded by the Business Managers Meeting and Educational Leaders Forum on Thursday 11 May, 2017.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Creating Capacity in a Complex World” with keynote speaker Dr Tom Stehlik, Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of SA.

All Board/Council members, school leaders, teachers and business managers are invited to attend. For Board/Council members, if they can only attend one day, then Saturday would be best, however they will find Friday’s program also relevant and interesting. A very special invitation this year is extended to all those working in the Reception/Front Line Manager/Communications capacity in their schools. We have a fabulous program lined up and hope that schools support their staff in these important administration roles to attend.

The registration cost for the 2 day GLaM conference is $165 + GST.

For those that can only attend on Saturday, the registration cost is $90 + GST.

Conference Dinner

A conference dinner will be held on Friday 12 May, 2017,  6.30pm at Russell’s Pizza, Willunga.  Vegetarian, Gluten Free and Vegan dietary options available, please indicate on registration if you require Gluten Free, Vegetarian or Vegan option. The dinner is $41 per head payable on registration.

See program outline attached.
